Immerse English is an online language community which gives you access to the community forum, online messaging system, and 24/7 assistance via email/chat with our native tutors to help you. You will be given a 7-day free trial, and can cancel at any time. This is the Immerse Basic option, but throughout the year, you have the option to join the ‘Immerse Months’. If you don’t want to purchase an Immerse Month (Social, Private, Combo or Ultimate), you can still book lessons but the price per lesson is at a higher rate than if you were to pay for a subscription.
What is Immerse Basic?
Immerse Basic is an ongoing subscription to be part of the Immerse English community. Your subscription will include;
- Access to the community forum and engage with native tutors and other members on popular discussions about English, and miscellaneous topics
- Use the online messaging tool to communicate with other members and arrange speaking lessons
- Chat and email the native tutors who can help you with expert feedback on CV skills, IELTS written answers, university work, and more. You can email/chat any time and get a response within 24 hours
- Book as many social or one to one lessons as you want, at an individual price per lesson
What is an Immerse Month?
Immerse Months happen throughout the year, and this gives you a chance to sign up for a 4-week period that includes;
- A set amount of 45 minute Social lessons (guided by native tutors, with up to four other students)
- A set amount of 45 minute private lessons (with native tutors, one to one)
- Exclusive community forum access, where you can do tasks set by native tutors everyday throughout the month, to improve on all aspects of English such as vocabulary, writing, reading, and more
- ALL benefits of Immerse Basic too (for ONE whole year!)
What Do I Need for Immerse Months?
We recommend you have a computer, laptop or tablet. You will be joining several social/private lessons throughout the month, and combined with a smooth connection, you’ll have the best possible learning experience.
Also, your tutor will give you tasks throughout the month, and it may be best to write your answers on the computer instead of a phone.
We also expect every student to have a friendly spirit and can-do attitude. We want people to be happy, welcoming and eager to learn English. ‘The more you put in, the more you get’. If you actively participate in social classes, online discussions, then you will feel the community spirit growing.

When are Immerse Months?
Immerse Months will happen throughout the year. We hope to have at least 8 or 9 per year, but that may expand in the coming years. Between each Immerse Month, there will be a week break for our tutors to prepare material, and focus on managing the website and other commitments.

August 31st – September 27th
October 5th – November 1st

How does the schedule work, and how do I book?
As Immerse English is a start-up company, our schedule is only available from 08:00 to 21:00 (GMT) – although we look to expand it to 24/7 as quickly as possible! When you sign up, you will be given the right timetable for your time zone.
Here is a quick overview of some possible time zones for your country.
Brazil – 04:00 to 17:00 (Winter time) 05:00 to 18:00 (summer time)
Mainland Europe – 09:00 to 22:00 (All year)
Eastern Europe, Turkey & Middle East – 10:00 to 24:00 (Summer) 11:00 to 01:00 (Winter)
Asia – Vary from 13:00 to 02:00 to 16:00 to 05:00 depending on country and time of year
You choose to book your lessons at a time that suits you on a day that suits you. The schedule will be open from Monday to Friday, but you can request lessons on a Saturday or Sunday, but these will not be guaranteed.
To book lessons, you click on the ‘booking’ page, and see the times available. You can view your bookings on your member page. Lessons are allocated on first come first served basis, but we will manage the lessons so everyone can get a fair time.
Social lessons will be arranged for two times during the day, where everyone around the world will be able to attend at least one of them.

- Do you want to meet other English language learners to improve your English fluency?
- Do you need help with any academic work?
- Do you want to learn English in a more fun and productive way?
- Are you interested in meeting up with other students around the world to practice speaking English?
- And more. Tell us why you want to join!
Then, once you have been accepted for an Immerse Month, the lessons will vary depending on what you require.
Our native tutors will create lessons to suit you, and practice on what you need help with. Whether you just want conversations, want to improve on aspects of English, or if you want to focus on a specific subject – we can help you. Our tutors are CELTA qualified, and have experienced teaching online in private sessions and in groups. You will be in good hands, and you will not be disappointed with your experience.
To help us, you can write a message to your tutor requesting a specific type of lesson. If not, your tutor will have something planned regardless.
